Nuru massage is a Japanese erotic massage technique in which the masseuse massages you with her whole body, not just her hands. Its hallmark is a very slippery, seaweed-based gel that makes every movement smooth, warm and enveloping. The name comes from a Japanese word meaning “slippery”. Where does nuru massage come from?
The technique was born in Japan, where for years it was associated mainly with the adult entertainment industry. Over time it spread to erotic massage salons around the world, including Poland. Two things still set it apart from other massages: the special gel and the fact that the massage is done with the whole body.
What is nuru gel?
Nuru gel is a water-based product traditionally made from seaweed. A few of its properties shape the whole massage:
- It is extremely slippery – much more than oil, so bodies can glide over each other freely.
- It is applied warm, so it feels pleasant from the very first moment.
- It stays slippery for a long time – a little water is enough to make it smooth again.
- It washes off easily – after the massage you simply rinse it off in a warm shower.

What happens during a nuru massage – step by step
Nuru massage is based on full body-to-body contact – both you and the masseuse are undressed. This is how a session looks at Rose & Wine:
- A short conversation. We start by talking about your expectations and boundaries. You can ask any question.
- Shower. Fresh towels and a shower are waiting in a private room – you use it before and after the massage.
- Applying the gel. The masseuse spreads warm gel on your body and hers.
- Body massage. The masseuse massages you with her whole body in a calm, gradually building rhythm. Thanks to the gel, the movements are long and fluid.
- Rest and shower. At the end there is time to rest and to take a shower that washes off the gel.
Nuru massage is not a quick treatment. Relaxation builds up gradually, so we recommend booking at least 60 minutes.

How long does a nuru massage take and how much does it cost?
Sessions last 60, 90 or 120 minutes. The price depends on the length of the massage and on whether it is given by one masseuse or two:

Who is nuru massage for?
Nuru massage is for people who enjoy closeness and intense touch, and who are looking for more than just relaxed muscles. If you are new to sensual massage and prefer a gentler start, choose a relaxation or tantric massage for your first visit – you can always come back for nuru next time.
As with any massage, skip nuru if you have a fever, an infection, skin conditions or fresh injuries. If you have serious health problems, consult a doctor first.
Nuru massage – frequently asked questions
Does a nuru massage end with a “happy ending”?
At Rose & Wine we do not provide sexual services. Nuru is a sensual body massage, and you agree on its scope with the masseuse before the session.
Is a nuru massage cheating?
It depends on the rules in your relationship. For some couples a sensual massage is simply a form of relaxation, for others it crosses a line. If you are not sure, talk to your partner – or come together for a couples massage.
Is it normal to get an erection during a nuru massage?
Yes. With such close contact it is a natural reaction of the body and there is nothing embarrassing about it. Our masseuses know this well.
Is nuru gel messy or hard to wash off?
No. The gel is water-based, so a warm shower after the massage is all you need. Every room has towels and a shower.
Should I choose nuru or tantric massage for my first time?
If you want to start gently – tantric or relaxation massage. If you already know you are looking for intense body-to-body contact – nuru. Either way, for a first visit we recommend a 60- or 90-minute session.
